Update 4/2002: "I
got just back from Pumori where we did climbed it... it was a lot of fun and
rewarding cause basically we were 3 climbers on it... the most difficult was
the route finding and the route fixing and once we were only 3 persons... We
did summit on the 6th April and for sure we had a lot of people looking from
Everest base camp ... Now I'm heading for McKinley where I'm supposed to meet
3-4 us friends... Joao Garcia
Update 2004: Man
what a Good Year! I experiment Antactica with the expensive Vinson... one more
to go for the 7 UP; once more Aconcágua, Queen of the Americas with a group,
then came Amadablam, the 2nd Portuguese expedition in the Himalayas; G I was a
nice surprise, when nobody thought that it could be done... finally and back
to Nepal, my second home they say! The sky is the limit
All these climbs were made
without the use of Sherpas nor bottled oxygen.
