The Sherpas of Everest Series: Arita Sherpa

Arita Sherpa lives in the village of Thame with his wife and two children. He is the brother of, Apa Sherpa, and has summitted Everest four times, three of which were on Bob Hoffman's teams in 95 (May 15, 1995), 98 (May 20, 1998) and 2000 (May 24, 2000).

His fourth summit was with Mountain Experience on May 24, 2001. All Summits via the Standard south east ridge route. He is from Namche-7 Thame, Solukhumbu, Nepal.

In 2003 Arita Sherpa, is back with Bob Hoffman on Everest!
