first on May 12th, 2000 via the standard south east ridge route.
Next on October 11th, 1994 with the British expedition via the standard south east ridge route.
He summited again on May 23, 1977 and May 26, 1999 via the standard south east ridge route.
On May 20th, 2000 he summited via the South Pillar on the Danish
expedition for his fifth summit. He was from Namche, Solukhumbu.
