Narayan Kumar Shrestha, from Kare Nepal, Summited Everest on August 28th, 1985 via the standard North East ridge route on the Spanish expedition led by Conrad Blanch. He died on Everest on September 21st, 1988 in an avalanche at camp 3 while on the Spanish team that attempted the west ridge.
